I saw on Youtube a video of someone playing Angel Of Death by Slayer and I was wondering if anyone knew which Guitar Hero it is on. I have Guitar Hero 2,3, and world tour and have not been able to find the song. I also have the first Rockband game as well. I own an Xbox 360 so this is the platform I am inquiring about.

No it’s not in any guitar hero or rock band games. Hopefully it will come out as a dlc on rock band.

I have a Beatles rock band guitar controler (which is compatible to both PS2 and PS3) and the game Guitar hero iii: legends of rock for PS2. Are these two compatible?
I have a Beatles rock band guitar controler (which is compatible to both PS2 and PS3) and the game Guitar hero iii: legends of rock for PS2. I know they are from rival companies. Are these two compatible?

I have heard that the guitar hero stuff works for rockband however it does not work the other way around so no you will probably not be able to us rockband stuff for guitar hero
Ps it’s actually the same company responsible for both games so they’re not really rivals. It’s just another way to make more money

Why are Band Hero, Greatest Hits and World Tour on the special offers section of the Guitar Hero 5 music store?

Can I really buy these games for just a few hundred Wii points? :S

You’re either seeing individual songs, or the export codes that let you play songs from one game in a different game (like Band Hero songs in GH5). You need a unique code that’s in each game’s manual for the export code to work.

They’re not full games.

I need some tips for moving up to hard on Guitar Hero III.?

I’ve been playing medium on Guitar Hero and Rock Band for a while now and I’ve recently tried hard on Guitar hero. I made it 90% through a song then I lost my groove. What fingers should I move to get to that orange fret/button? I’m really getting tired of medium because its getting too easy.

well when doing hammer ons, you should take your right hand off of the strum bar and use all your fingers to easily hit the fret buttons. Also, there will rarely be a time where you have to hit both the green and orange buttons simultaneously so just move your hand over one fret to hit the orange notes. As for getting better, just keep practicing, and try a slow paces eventually moving up to higher paces.

Guitar Hero?

Does anyone think guitar Hero and video games like it are making people believe they have talent for music. It seems like more people would enjoy actually learning guitar…agree?
yeah ur right, i play guitar and have a horrible time playing guitar hero

I agree. As much as I enjoy playing Guitar Hero, I’d still rather play a real guitar if I knew how. The appeal of music games like guitar hero is that you don’t have to take the time to master an actual instrument, but you still feel like you’re playing the music. Doing this provides a vicarious thrill for those who are otherwise musically ungifted. I just wish it was easier -and less expensive- to learn to play an actual instrument. Oh well. Until then, I’ll just have to pretend that this isn’t some lameo sitting in his parents’ basement strumming on a piece of plastic:

Good luck, and Namaste.

Do you think Rock Band and Guitar Hero has antiquated bad old fart music?

I do.

I think these games need to have music from the generation that most plays these games.

Give me some good bands you would like to see on Rock Band/Guitar Hero instead of The Beatles, Aerosmith, and other geriatric or dead rock stars.

yep most of it

If I have Guitar Hero games for Wii, how can I download the music to my system to play the songs on Band Hero?

Or how can I use the songs from my other games to make set lists to play on band hero? Is there a way to do this? any help with this is great. I have Guitar Hero 5, World Tour, Smash Hits and Band Hero all for Wii.

Sorry, there’s not a way to do that, but you can do that on Rock Band, though.
